“I ye be the sort of fool who turns down this fine offerring of dirty black thrash… the Goat have mercy on your soul! Compared with teh somewhat scrappy, beer-drenched demo I was handed a year ago, this is a merciless bombardment that reeks of Death and Destruction (pun intended). A well executed, filthily produced old school beating. 4/6″

“This EP is worth seeking out on the strength of the band name and album title alone! Mixing black metal blast with death crunch in the style of early Akercocke, and old school metal (see ‘Anger Overload’s Deep Purple-esque break down), NGT refuse to stick to a set sound and structure. Excellent melodious guitar sections are used on most tracks and work extremely considering the heaviness of most of the material, such as on ‘Godlike’, where the clean guitar breaks give emotional depth to the music. The production is clean and well mixed, but at times hollow. Guitarwork is strong and the riffs are inventive, particularly on opener ‘Morbid Intentions’, a great song demonstrating all the strong points of the band. This again uses layered clean guitars to good effect. A bonus track comes in the form of ‘Hamster Fucker’, which probably needs no further explanation. If the outstanding aspects of songwriting are built upon, NGT have the ability to create something not only original, but superior to ‘One Nation…’. But until then… Goat on!!”
